The tree house is to be pretty & rustic to fit in a lovely English garden. It is not to look like something out of a theme park! On the other side of the tree house we would like to have a lovely play area for the children. The children are young so we would like to add activities over the years. The quote included: A 9ft square tree house, sitting on a deck 16ft x 21ft, with the deck surrounding the beautiful old oak tree. The tree house will be 9ft off the ground on one side and over 11ft the other side. There is a balcony all the way round the tree house and around the tree. The tree house will have waney edge board on the outside, tongue and groove board on the inside including the ceiling and a cedar shakes roof rising to a wooden finial. Inside there will be two sleeping platforms in the roof. Three opening windows and a nine pane hardwood stable door. There will be a continuous handrail all round the deck with 2inch rustic spindles. Access will be via either a wooden ladder or a sloping manila Burma rope bridge. At the rear of the tree house there is a pair of swings, a trapeze bar, trapeze rings and a child's swing.
